Hulu Ready To Charge

June 4, 2010 – Today’s most interesting stories in technology, media and entertainment:

Hulu Premium To Debut: Hulu’s much anticipated premium service could debut on XBox Live sometime in the next two weeks. While little is known about the service, it is expected to work just like Netflix Watch Instantly. Whoo! Whoo!

The Kno Tablet: Not every tablet is going to look like an iPad. The Kno, is a new dual-screen device aimed at college students … it’s going to look like a big, heavy electronic text book, and may have a whole host of features that iPads lack. Of course no one knows much more about the Kno, so when I find out I’ll let you know.

Instant Military Replay: From the “this is cool” department, Harris Corporation, the company that makes the instant-replay technology used in NFL games, has adapted it for military use. Called the Full-Motion Video Asset Management Engine, it allows our soldiers to better assess real-life situations through video analysis. Too bad they don’t use it for baseball.
