Apple recently launched its digital textbook initiative and it’s already gaining popularity. Within days of being available, over 350,000 digital textbooks were downloaded. The popularity of tablets and e-readers skyrocketed over the holidays, with 19% of adults now owning some sort of tablet device. Comcast announced a new service called AnyPlay that lets Xfinity Triple Play subscribers stream cable TV to their iPad.
