Israel’s government blacklisted hundreds of names based on social media activity and ordered airports to prevent their travel. A recent study reveals that cellphone and device use are responsible for a majority of distracted driver accidents. A majority of states have banned handheld cellphone use as a result. Google’s Eric Schmidt will testify in front of a United States Senate Judiciary subcommittee in response to accusations of Google violating antitrust regulations. Schmidt responded to the threat of a subpoena and had previously offered its Chief Legal Officer David Drummond to testify.
