As expected, demand for the iPhone 5 was intense when it became available for pre-order last week. No official numbers have been provided yet, but Apple’s initial supply was exhausted less than one hour after the pre-sale began, and it was soon flowed by AT&T and Verizon. New orders are now extended by at least two weeks. If you missed the boat, you can still wait on line to get yours on September 21. No time to stand in line? Why not just hire someone to do it for you? TaskRabbit, an online task and errand service, is charging 55 bucks to have someone hold your spot in line for up to four hours.  If you’re still not sure which carrier to go for, here’s something that might help you decide. Phones on Verizon and Sprint will not be able to use voice and data simultaneously on the 4g LTE network — AT&T phones will.
