Amazon is now offering free e-book rentals for Prime subscribers. You can rent one book at a time and have it checked out for up to a month. The $79 a year Prime subscription now gives you free shipping, unlimited video streaming and access to over 5,000 e-books. In other news, Apple acknowledged that a small number of costumers are having battery life issues after upgrading their iPhones to iOS 5. If you’re experiencing issues a temporarily solution is to turn off location services settings when you don’t need GPS access. Apple will soon fix the problem with a software update. And finally, a report given to Congress by a top counterintelligence agency, warns of repeated cyber espionage attacks on U.S. companies. The attacks attempt to steal sensitive business and economic secrets and are mainly coming from foreign spies.
