Tablet computers are all the rage and there are more options than ever. Both Amazon’s Kindle Fire and Barnes and Nobles’ Nook Tablet are decent options if you’re looking to spend under $250. They’ll both let you browse the web, read books, check email, watch videos and download a bunch of apps. But, if you have your heart set on an iPad, simply nothing else will do. If you live your life in iTunes, the iPad is your only option. There are also plenty of choices if you’re looking for an HDTV. There’s no need to get caught up in the geek speak and specifications. Look for a set that’s in your price range and is the right size for your living room. Generally, a 720p hi-definition set will be more than enough for the typical movie and TV watcher.
