June 8, 2010 – Today’s most interesting stories in technology, media and entertainment:

It’s All About The iPhone 4: The new iPhone 4 has been announced. It’s got some cool, new features like a front-facing camera for video chat, it’s got the highest resolution video display you’ve ever seen, improved battery life, it multi-tasks and it even shoots and edits video in HD. The new iPhone will be available for pre-order online on June 15th and in stores on June 24th. You’ll spend $199 for the 16GB model and $299 for the 32GB app phone with the obligatory 2 year AT&T contract, which now features a limited and capped data plan.

iPhone’s New iOS: In addition to the iPhone, Apple also announced its new operating system called iOS. It boasts improved mail, as well as over 100 other features including the ability to make folders. The big win: multi-tasking, which Apple showed off by listening to music on Pandora while surfing the web. iOS will be available for free to all users on June 21st.
