One Million Sold: It took Apple only 28 days to sell a million iPads. The company sold its millionth tablet the day the 3G iPad hit stores. An especially proud Steve Jobs notes “that’s less than half of the 74 days it took to achieve this milestone with iPhone.”

New Twitter Embed Codes: Twitter is unveiling a new feature today that will allow users to embed Tweets onto websites. Twitter believes that “Tweets are the new quotes,” which may be true as many news organizations are now using Twitter posts instead of phone calls or public statements to verify information. Twitter hopes that Tweets will soon be as easy and appropriate to post as YouTube videos.

Feds Thinking About Apple Antitrust: Just as we thought Apple had forever Adobe to the curb forever, Federal regulators are set to examine the action. Both the FTC and the Justice Department may examine Apple’s decision to force developers to exclusively use Apple tools to create apps for the iPad and iPhone platform. People keep trying to make this fight about Flash video and apps — that’s not what the fight is about.
