Hulu Will Charge For Content

Major League Baseball is bringing MLB.TV to Sony’s PS3. Starting later this week, PS3 users will be able to access live games, as well as thousands of hours of archival material. The deal is the first for a gaming console, and will cost $9.95 a month.

Speaking of subscriptions, Hulu will reportedly roll out its first subscription deal later this month. Expected to cost approximately $9.95 a month, the deal will allow access to older episodes of shows through Hulu Plus.

Apple’s new iPad has helped a 99 year old woman to read again. Virginia Campbell has been plagued by glaucoma for many years. Her eyesight was so far gone that she could not even read from large print books. However, Campbell noted that “The device’s oversized type and the contrast between the bright background and bold letters help bring stories into focus.”
