Facebook Replacing 'Become a Fan' with 'Like'

Facebook is making a not-so-subtle change in the way users will connect with brands and celebrities. All you will have to do to give a fan page access to your wall, is click the “like” button. So long “become a fan of.” Hello, “like.” Good idea or another Facebook scandal? You be the judge.

Here’s a better idea! Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania is going to give all of their students an iPad and a MacBook for personal use. How awesome is that?

Well, it’s almost as awesome as making a Skype call from your Verizon BlackBerry or Android-based phone. Just buy some Skype credits and the free app will work with your Verizon data plan. I know what you’re thinking, doesn’t Skype charge less for both domestic and International calls than Verizon does? The short answer is, yes! Welcome to the 21st century.
