A leaked image of Radioshack’s inventory shows that the iPhone 5 will be announced on October 4th as previous rumors suggested. Apple’s newest phone will be available on Verizon, AT&T and for the first time, Sprint. The iPhone 4S, a cheaper less-upgraded version, is also expected to be announced. AT&T debuted its 4G Long-Term Evolution network in five major cities. Antonio, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston are now covered, with plans to bring the service to 15 total cities by year’s end. The U.S. Justice Department is suing to block the potential merger between AT&T and T-Mobile. It’s argued that the $39 billion merger would be a violation of antitrust policy by limiting wireless competition.
