Cellphone Problems Persist Across New York City

While many New York City residents returned to work Wednesday, the city’s cellphone service remains strained — and a source of frustration for those trying to communicate. Much of Lower Manhattan is still without wireless or wireline service, and mobile-phone users across the city complained on Twitter about service problems that seem to be increasing in the days after the storm.
