As we move toward a more connected world, we can do everything we want on every device we own and everywhere we are. Doing things on the go is fine, but what if you just want to sit on your couch and veg out? YouTube just introduced a slick new TV mode to its YouTube Leanback program. If you have a computer hooked up to your 65 inch plasma in the living room, you’re now free to sit down and browse your favorite videos using just a keyboard. No mouse needed – just go to YouTube.com/TV and let the video watching begin! Are you more into games than videos? Just a few weeks ago, computer game distributor Steam introduced a similar feature in its Big Picture Mode, which lets you play computer games on your TV with a controller instead of a mouse and keyboard. Get ready, get set, sit down and let entertainment wash over you … in the comfort of your living room.
