Google just announced an update to Google News’ search results pages that makes some changes to the popular news site’s layout. Most importantly, Google News search now features click-to-expand news results clusters. As the name implies, these clusters will feature related stories from more sources and users will have to click on the new “Show more” link to see them. This improvement, says Google News product manager Rudy Galfi in today’s announcement, will make it “much easier to scan through the search results to find just the collection of news coverage you’re looking for.” Read the full story at TechCrunch.
