You’ve heard of liveblogging and live-tweeting. Now here comes live-GIFfing. Tumblr announced that it has assembled a team to create animated GIFs during the upcoming U.S. presidential debates to be posted in real time on a dedicated blog. While the concept itself is hysterical, it seems unlikely that the result will be anything more than an onslaught of recurring silent moving pictures of the same two guys in suits jabbing the air while they pontificate.
