Amazon is supporting a bill that would let the federal government tax online shoppers. The “Marketplace Fairness Act” would require you to pay sales tax on any item purchased online, even if it’s an out of state purchase. Don’t be surprised if this is the last holiday season you can enjoy tax-free online shopping. In other news, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 destroyed entertainment sales records, making $400 million in the first 24 hours. This is the third time Activision Blizzard has broken records with Call of Duty, marking the most successful entertainment launch in history. And finally, many users are still experiencing poor battery life on the iPhone, despite a software update that was supposed to fix the problem. Some users are experiencing even more software problems after installing the update.  Apple said it’s investigating the issues.
