India Launches $35 Tablet

$35 Tablet

India’s government launched a pilot program that will put 100,000 $35 tablet computers in the hands of its students. The touch-screen device supports video conferencing and an Internet connection in hopes that it can help end the digital divide between the country’s rich and poor.
