Microsoft Loses $290M Patent Dispute Appeal

Microsoft finally lost its appeal against a $290 million patent dispute with company i4i. The case stems from i4i suing Microsoft over a software feature in Word, which would require Microsoft to pull the software from stores. I4i says the case is an example of Microsoft trying to lower the standard for invalidating patents. Read the full article at PCMag.com
