The FBI is investing a cyber-attack on the International Monetary Fund that aimed to steal sensitive insider information. It is believed that the attack was carried out on behalf of a nation-state looking to compromise the organization. The main concern is that hackers may become emboldened to try worse attacks if nothing is done about it.
