The hacktivist group ‘Anonymous’ took down the websites of the Egyptian Ministry of Interior with DDoS attacks. They were successful in taking down Mubarak’s site and bragged about it on Twitter, with a statement of support for the Egyptian people. ‘Anonymous’ previously took down government sites in Tunisia, including the stock exchange’s.
