
Research firm NDP Group reports that movie rental kiosks now account for a larger percentage than in-store rentals. Stores like the now bankrupt Blockbuster account for 27% of rentals, with kiosks like Redbox surpassing them at 31%. Not surprisingly, Blockbuster is now pursuing its own kiosk strategy to compete.
