Kaplan Test Prep questioned over 2,000 students, age 16-18, and found that 61% are Facebook friends with their parents. 38% of the students simply ignored the requests, but a large majority admitted high parent involvement in their academic lives. Facebook is now a cornerstone for connecting the new generation and parents want to see those status updates. Read the full article at Reuters.com
