Google’s web application PowerMeter teams up with device makers and electric companies to help you keep track of your energy consumption. Using a monitor kit that attaches to your electricity meter and transmits data via Wi-Fi, the web app will show you how much energy you use and what it’s costing you. Although the necessary devices will run you around $230, this nifty web app can save you some serious money.
