Facebook The Biggest Time Suck
People spend more time on Facebook than any other site on the web. Facebook beat both Google and Yahoo for time spent on a single site. According to comScore, U.S. web users spent 41.1 million minutes on Facebook in August, which accounts for 9.9 percent of a user’s total time spent online.

Tablet Wars: Samsung vs. Apple
Samsung has made deals with Verizon, AT&T and Sprint to carry its Android-based tablet computer. While the Apple iPad is only available from AT&T, Samsung is ready to compete with distribution at three of the largest U.S. mobile operators. Samsung is expected to unveil their tablet, the Galaxy Tab, later this month and it is expected to retail between $200 and $300.

After September 30th, Apple will stop giving away free iPhone cases to iPhone 4 owners. Apple believes that the antenna issue was smaller than they had originally anticipated, and they no longer need to provide free cases. However, Apple will still give free cases to the small percentage of people who may experience a problem.

Burglars Use Facebook to Target Homes
Three burglars, working together in the Nashua area of New Hampshire, burglarized 18 homes using Facebook. The robbers were able to target homes of people who had announced on Facebook that they were traveling out of town. The men were caught with between $100,00 and $200,000 worth of stolen property.
