Police Post Mug Shots on Facebook
The police department in Evesham Township, NJ is using their Facebook page to post mug shots of people arrested for drunk driving and other offenses. A police officer from Eversham said that posting photos of an offender “arms the public with information and puts a face to a name.”

Apple Manager Receives $1 Million in Kickbacks
A Manager at Apple, Paul Shin Devine, has been indicted by a federal grand jury for accepting $1 million in kickbacks from Apple suppliers in Asia. It’s believed that Devine was leaking confidential information to secure contracts with Asian suppliers. An Apple spokesman stated the company has “zero tolerance for unethical behavior.”

George Lucas personally announced the HD debut of the six Star Wars films on Blu-ray. The box set will be available in Fall 2011 and will mark the 35th Anniversary of the first Star Wars film, Episode IV: A New Hope. Will the Star Wars franchise be able to help sell more Blu-ray players?

NFL To Implement Tracking Devices?
The NFL is in talks with a German manufacturer, Cairos Technologies, about implementing micro-tracking devices in NFL game balls. The chips would allow greater accuracy, helping officials make better decisions on the close calls that can greatly alter the outcome of a game.
