Google & Verizon’s Version of “Net Neutrality”
Google and Verizon have released a proposal that outlines their idea of “net neutrality”, which encourages legislators to enact laws to prohibit Internet Service Providers from discriminating practices, like delaying or blocking access to certain websites. However, the principles outlined in the proposal would not apply to Internet service over cell phone networks.

Sony’s Xperia X10 Unveiled
Sony Ericsson unveiled its Android based, Xperia X10 smartphone on Monday. The smartphone has a 8.1 megapixel camera, built-in GPS, and 8GB of memory. The Xperia X10 will be available for $130 at AT&T starting August 15th.

Priced between $230-$300 dollars, the cameras include features like motion sensors which will alert you, via email, if there’s any activity in your home. Plus, the cameras’ resolution is high enough for you to identify faces and read license plate numbers.

$9.5 Million RBS Hacker Extradited to U.S.
The mastermind behind a $9.5 million global bank card heist has been extradited to the U.S. Sergei Tsurikov, a 26-year old from Estonia, hacked the Royal Bank of Scotland in 2008. With access to thousands of PIN numbers from payroll debit cards, Sergei and fellow cybercriminals were able to withdraw funds from over 2,000 ATMs simultaneously.
