Consumer Reports Says “No” To iPhone 4: Consumer Reports announced that it cannot recommend the iPhone 4 due to antenna issues. They say that it’s a hardware bug, and they don’t believe that it is as easily fixable as Apples says it is.
Google is bringing Apps to the people: The company unveiled a new service called App Inventor that allows regular everyday people to design simple and useful Android apps. Will everyday people really design Apps? Maybe, but don’t count on them being very useful.
Microsoft Will Have Tablets: With new tablets being announced everyday, Microsoft reminded the public that it will enter the slate game. While Microsoft has yet to unveil a proper slate computer, Steve Ballmer noted that the folks in Redmond will reveal a number of tablet computers in the coming months, each powered by Windows 7. Will the tablets be as successful as the Zune or the Kin, oh wait, both of those consumer products bombed.
AT&T Promises A Better Network: File this under promises you hope are kept. AT&T CTO John Donovan recently told attendees at a VentureBeat conference that AT&T “will move heaven and Earth” to better its network for customers.
