Netflix Streaming In HD

May 14, 2010 – Today’s most interesting stories in technology, media and entertainment:

Netflix Now Streaming HD: Want to really have fun? Check out Netflix Watch Instantly in HD. Although the library is limited, the experience is awesome. It’s available for PC or Mac and it’s really worth it.

Chrome Netbook On The Way: Google is going to introduce its first Chrome OS-powered netbook on June 1st. There’s no word on when the Chrome Acer Netbook will be made available for consumers or how much it will cost. Please, don’t think of this as an iPad killer.

Facebook Security: As privacy concerns increase, Facebook is taking steps to secure its network. They have announced new security options that will alert users if a login is attempted from a suspicious location. The Facebook blog said, “You can save your home computer, your school or work computer, and your mobile phone. Then, whenever someone logs into your account from a device not on this list, we’ll ask the person to name the device.” Wow, I feel safer already.
