Google TV Is Real!

GoogleTV Details: I’ve got some deets on Google TV, Google’s new project with Intel and Sony. Google TV allows you to watch and search both TV and web content and will be free after users initially purchase the service. It’s going to be available this fall on Sony TV’s exclusively at Best Buy.

Google iTunes Killer: Google hinted at a new music download site. As part of its Froyo announcement, the company talked about a market place where users could download apps and music. The service will wirelessly sync to Android devices. It could be Google’s answer to iTunes.

FTC Wins Spam Battle: The FTC won a major case that is sure to curb web spam. The commission finally shut down 3FN, an ISP in Belize known for hosting malware, phishing attacks, botnets and other malicious digital scams. The shut down is expected to be a major break thru in spam reduction.
