Why is Apple Selling a Non-Contract iPhone?

In a move that no one can explain, Apple is now selling iPhones for list price without an AT&T contract. However, the iPhone will still only work on the AT&T network, so is there really a point? Well, no actually, there isn’t.

In other Apple news, need a last minute gift? No problem. Now iPhone users can gift applications to each other through the App Store. Wow, now there’s an app for giving apps.

Interested in the triple play deal for video, voice and data, but, you don’t want a landline phone? AT&T is now letting customers choose between a wireless phone and a landline phone for their triple play. Just pick the plan that’s best for you. Video, landline and data or Video, wireless and data.
