A new study is reporting that AT&T has the strongest 3G network in the country. While many iPhone users would dispute this claim, the study, done by Silicon Alley Insider, claims that AT&T’s network is the fastest for downloading data to mobile phones. AT&T’s network had the fastest download speeds in half of the markets tested, in which Verizon was the only network that came close.

Ford is set to include Wi-Fi in cars beginning this spring. The new SYNC system will allow users to turn their car into a Wi-Fi hotspot by plugging a wireless modem into the dashboard. The system will reportedly work with any network’s wireless offering, giving drivers the ability to choose where their wireless connection comes from and how much it costs.

In other mobile news, Vonage has launched apps for the iPhone and BlackBerry. While the apps for the voice over Internet service are free for download, users will have to pay $24.99 a month for unlimited, International calls. However, while making international calls will not be cheap, all calls made in the US over Wi-Fi will be free.
