For the first time in its existence, web domain names will be able to be written in languages besides English. Peter Dengate, chairman of ICANN, the group who presides over domain names, believes it “is the biggest change technically to the Internet since it was invented 40 years ago.” Making characters from many languages will increase accessibility to the web worldwide.

Michael Jackson’s This is It documentary hits 3,500 theaters today. Liz Taylor said “”It is the single most brilliant piece of filmmaking I have ever seen.” This is It will only be in theaters for two weeks and is expected to draw massive audiences in worldwide.

After months of free access, the Wall Street Journal is today beginning to charge mobile users for content received through BlackBerry and iPhone applications. The Journal will charge $2 for Business and Financial content, leaving sports, politics and other sections available for free through applications. The move is a major sign of News Corp shift to charging for all exclusive content.

The Pilots flying the plane the flew one hundred and fifty miles past Minneapolis claim to have gotten sidetracked using their laptops. Both pilots said they were on the computer, not sleeping as many believe. This is the reason texting while driving laws are in effect.
