YAHOO (NASD: YHOO) is shifting their product development strategy. Yahoo President Susan Decker aligned the strategy, which seeks to centralize development in hopes of increasing global revenue. The goal is to tap into the world market.

The ICANN organization approved the proposal to create an unlimited number of TLD’s. Organizations will now be able to apply for specific TLD’s to use as suffixes in domain names. Registering a new TLD, like .paris for the city of Paris, will cost between $100,000 and $150,000 a year.

CHRYSLER (Buenos Aires: DCX.BA) parts manufacturer MOPAR announced that
Wi-Fi will soon be available in Chrysler vehicles
. “Uconnect Web” will run on cellular spectrum and will cost about $29 a month. The WiFi option will be available starting in August.

Today is Bill Gates last day as a full-time employee at MICROSOFT (NASD: MSFT). Instead of being a permanent fixture in Redmond, Gates will now concentrate mainly on the philanthropic interests of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
