Ad Blocking as High as 30%

ad blocker
Stats in a new report from Blockthrough suggest that more than 750 million devices (mobile and computer) were running ad blockers in Q4 2019. The increase is pegged at roughly 64% over the past three years. Continue Reading →
If your business objective is awareness, the next time you are thinking about ditching TV, radio, or other broad reach (wasteful) advertising opportunities for a tightly targeted “addressable” campaign with “no waste,” consider the network effect. It is a powerful, valuable force multiplier. Continue Reading →
All American
If data-driven storytelling were only about data, then every original show on Netflix or Prime Video should be a smash hit. But Netflix, Prime Video, and every other original production done by the “data rich” tech organizations have about the same production-to-hit ratio as professionally programmed old-fashioned, “data poor” networks. AI Was the Star of CES

Sony Atom View CES 2020
A crowd gathered around some guy at CES who had stuck an antenna in a potato and said it was 5G enabled. That was a joke. If he had said that it was an AI-assisted superfood that learned from you every time you ate it, people probably would have placed orders for it. Continue Reading →

CES 2020: The 8K Hot Dog

CES® has always been synonymous with new TVs. While the show has expanded to cover every imaginable kind of consumer technology, everyone always asks me about TVs. This year, the TV story is 8K (screens that are 7680 × 4320 pixels). There is no content available in 8K. That said, every major manufacturer is showing Continue Reading →
The fun continues at CES® 2020! This morning, we hosted more than a thousand of the coolest people in Las Vegas at our Innovation Series Summit, where our friends from Facebook, Samsung, The CW, Google, and Westwood One spoke about working together, as well as their visions for the future. There were more exciting announcements Continue Reading →
