The Wall Street Journal reports that Netfix reached a deal that will add Miramax films to its streaming library. Google has made its own changes and revamped Google News to let users dig deeper into stories. The site now displays more top stories and includes videos and photos in an expanded view. Internet Censorship
Turkish citizens took to the streets protesting a new plan to filter the country’s Internet. Unlike Google, Microsoft has developed a long-standing relationship with Facebook and it’s finally paying off. Sony is slowly restarting the PlayStation Network and aims to have the entire network up by the end of the month. All users must download a security patch and choose a new password. Amazon released a cheaper ad-supported version of the Kindle over a month ago and it’s already the site’s bestseller.
