Sony reports that the damage it sustained during the earthquake in Japan caused a record annual loss of $3.2 billion. Verizon
Verizon recently announced that it’s expanding it’s 4G long-term evolution network to 21 more markets by June 16. By then, Verizon hopes service will span a total of 76 markets providing wireless download speeds of up to 12 Mbps. The entire 4G network is expected to replace 3G completely by the end of 2013. A new survey claims that sites like Facebook and Twitter are drastically hurting work productivity. The report finds that 53% of employees waste at least an hour a day sending emails, answering texts and sending tweets. The average yearly cost of the lost productivity is $10,375 per employee.
