Google Launches Gemini Enterprise

Gemini Enterprise

Google just introduced Gemini Enterprise, a new AI platform designed for business clients. Their goal is to put generative AI directly into the center of enterprise operations.

The platform brings Google’s Gemini models to Google Cloud and Workspace customers. It allows employees to interact with corporate data, trigger workflows, and build AI agents that automate everyday tasks. Teams can query spreadsheets, analyze documents, summarize meetings, and perform cross-app searches inside a single Gemini interface.

Early customers include Gap, Figma, and Klarna. Sundar Pichai described Gemini Enterprise as “the new front door for Google AI in the workplace.” The service integrates with Gmail, Docs, Drive, Sheets, Slides, and Meet, and connects to external business systems through Vertex AI extensions.

Gemini Enterprise enters the same market that Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic’s enterprise suite, and OpenAI’s ChatGPT Enterprise already serve. Clearly, the battle for the enterprise AI layer is underway. Vendors are racing to become the system of record for intelligent workflows. Whoever owns that layer will own your company’s agentic future. It’s a zerosum game. I expect it will be played as such.
