Parler will be back in Apple App Store

Parler, an app that calls itself an unbiased social network, will be allowed back in the Apple App Store after it updates its content moderation practices to comply with Apple’s terms of service. Mark Meckler, Parler’s interim CEO, said Parler has made these changes.

Parler has been available for Android this whole time, as there are non-Google app stores for Android. A Google Play spokesperson said, “As we stated back in January, Parler is welcome back in the Play store once it submits an app that complies with our policies.” No change there.

Please don’t scream, “1st Amendment!” Apple and Google are not the government, so the 1st Amendment doesn’t apply. I am interested to hear your thoughts, so please, let me know what you think.
