Unmanned Aerial Systems on Monday launched an Indiegogo campaign to develop a new app that will let you downlink drone imagery onto your laptop or smartphone.
Here’s how it works. The company’s drone cameras uplink videos directly to the company’s website. Then, through the app, you’ll be able to view videos and images using the newly-developed app on your device. You’ll also be able to zoom in on the images and read the geo-referenced latitude and longitude. The app will even let you view live drone missions on your device, with images deliver in near-real time.
UAS looks to launch the app by Summer 2015. Contributors to the Indiegogo campaign who donate $100+ can also become beta testers. The campaign, which will run through September 11, 2014, has a goal of $40,000. To learn more about the app, or to donate to the campaign, head over to Indiegogo today.
