Gett (formerly GetTaxi) is a smartphone app that lets you book a taxi or black car right from your phone. GetTaxi originally launched in Tel Aviv two years ago, spread to Europe and has since launched in New York City. Gett sets itself apart from other services by being totally transparent with its pricing and by not skyrocketing its prices when rush hour hits.
