FacebookUpdate: A Facebook spokesperson has now been in touch to say that the problem should be fixed for all users: “Earlier this morning, while performing some network maintenance, we experienced an issue that prevented some users from posting to Facebook for a brief period of time. Please try again in a few minutes” and “The message could not be posted to this timeline”, meaning that, effectively, no new content or updates can be shared across the social network.
