AppleTV

AppleTV9to5Mac is reporting that Apple is working on a new version of the Apple TV, and it could arrive as soon as next month. The website says it has heard that a new version of the Apple TV is in development, but its sources have not provided a clear picture in terms of a launch timeframe. The launch could occur in October, which is the month that we’re expecting new versions of the iPad arrive. It would make sense for Apple to launch the new Apple TV and iPads in tandem as this is a launch combination that it has done in the past… It is unclear what the form-factor of this new device is. There is talk of Apple working on both a full-fledged TV set and a revamped set-top-box that is similar in form-factor to the current model. There is also talk of Apple testing Xbox Kinect-like motion sensors for future TV-related products. When Apple plans to release motion-controlled TVs, however, is uncertain.
