Verizon has revealed a new budget Android smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Stellar, delivering Ice Cream Sandwich and 4G LTE for free on contract. Packing a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen and 1.2GHz dualcore Snapdragon processor, the Galaxy Stellar is also one of Samsung’s SAFE approved devices, targeted at enterprise users with added security and other business-friendly tech. SAFE (Samsung Approved For Enterprise) – which we saw several months back on a Galaxy S III version – includes 256-bit AES on-device encryption, enhanced Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync support, and a range of VPN and Mobile Device Management systems.
