
With just under two weeks to go during Google’s Fiber “rally” in Kansas City, only about 50% of Kansas City, MO and Kansas City, KS neighborhoods have reached their pre-registration goals to get access to the company’s new gigabit Internet connection and TV service. On the Kansas side of the city, the majority of “fiberhoods” are still quite a few sign-ups away from reaching their goals and only 33 out of 74 neighborhoods have passed Google’s threshold so far.
