Security Certificate Vendor VeriSign Hacked


After an investigation into a filing with the SEC, VeriSign admitted that it was hacked multiple times in 2010. This is particularly troubling because at the time, VeriSign was the primary authority for issuing websites security certificates. The extent of the damage is still being looked into.
