Google+ Update Lets You Filter Friends’ Spam

Google announced a series of major updates to its social network Google+ as it continues its uphill battle with the goliath, Facebook. The biggest update for typical users is the ability to filter how much attention is paid to certain circles of friends in your news feed, letting you crank up or lower the volume for certain groups.
