Reports come out frequently warning of the potential for Android phone users to have their devices infected with viruses and malware, but is it a threat worth buying software over? The companies telling you to heed their warning are often the same companies selling the software. While it is possible to have your phone infected through negligent use and downloading nefarious applications, the threat of a mobile virus epidemic doesn’t loom in the near future.
