According to a recent report by Nielsen smartphones outsold feature phones for the first time ever. During the period of March to May, 55% of people looking for a device purchased a smartphon—up from 34% during the same time last year. Android phones are still the most popular smartphone, accounting for 38% of new smartphone purchases.
