Obama Extends Patriot Act

The U.S. Congress recently passed an extension for the Patriot Act, leading to four more years of the anti-terrorism mandate. The laws technically allow the FBI to access to billions of gigabytes of user information obtained by companies. President Obama signed the bill into law, despite it having many critics.
