500% More 3D HDTVs Will Ship in 2011

According to a recent report, the number of 3D HDTV to ship in 2011 will increase 500%. The report, by IHS iSuppli states that 23.4 million units will ship this year, up from 4.2 million the year before. Instead of pushing 3D as a TV’s main function, manufacturers are included it as a perk by lowering the cost of the units. Read the full article at ZDNet.com
